Krista is a deeply passionate therapist rooted in connection, curiosity, playfulness, and joy. With over 20 years of experience working with children in many capacities, Krista passion lies in empowering children and families to embrace their true selves, foster genuine connections, and support mental well-being. Krista uses a strength-based, relationship-centered, and individual-tailored approach.

Krista’s journey began within early childhood classrooms, gaining her Masters in Education from Bank Street College, specializing in Infant and Parent Development, Early Childhood, and Special Education. Later, she expanded her expertise with a degree in Social Work from Silberman/Hunter College. Her dedication extends to trauma therapy, where she's trained in TF-CBT and CPP, helping children navigate their experiences with care and understanding. When not working with children and families, Krista can be found hiking, at the beach, thrifting, or spending time with her family, enjoying all that Brooklyn has to offer.
